SVP and Happy Christmas!!

Just to let u know that the total given to SVP Milford was just over 178 euro (this included 30 odd euro received from the sale of hot chocolate and then the 147 from kris kindle collection) - a massive well done and its a great thing to have done - well done to all!! Debbie in the office is going to deliver this

Can I just ask that you all have a safe, happy and enjoyable holidays

I have organised a trip to Young Scientist & Technology for TY students and one Fourth Year Maths class on Thursday 7th January 2016.  To date 15 people have paid. 

To 4th Yr Maths class: Please bring in the money by Monday 21st December 2015

To TYs: Please try to arrange that the money is sent in by Monday 21st December with a sister/brother, etc

I will make a decision by Tuesday 6th January at 12 noon whether this trip will go ahead or not.

Christmas holidays and SVP

Just to inform you that you will be finished here at school on Thursday of this week - you are obviously at work experience on Friday and then you are on your Christmas holidays on Friday evening!!!!

From the collection this morning for SVP - just from donations from students - we have raised over 147 euro - this will be donated to SVP in Milford - a massive well done to all - its great to do something for people at this time of the year so well done again

We will leave the school at 130 - please make sure that u are changed and ready to go at that time

PE gear required - no shorts allowed - make sure u have warm comfortable clothing with you

Please also bring 5 euro as a contribution - thanks

You can also bring some sweets if u want as it is the last PE class before Christmas - thanks

There was a message sent around yesterday

Instead of doing a Kris kindle among TY students - we are going to give a donation to SVP - this is a nice thing to do and it helps out others who are in need this Christmas - please do your best to give what you can

No set amount - whatever u can afford - nobody will know so its up to you

Portfolios and scrap books and Reports

I will be meeting you all individually once the reports arrive at home - they are going out in the next few days so I will let u know

I will be looking at your portfolio and your scrap book so please make sure that you are ready to go

I will be looking at your report as well so that's why I have to wait until you get it first at home

Because of the numbers as well we will be doing this work in groups of 6 or so - so there will be about 6 in at a time - this will allow students to see who is working and who needs to up their effort levels (I am sure there will be no one!!!!)

Reports are not due to go out until Friday so it will be the start of the week at the earliest!!!

Please take note

Please meet in the sports hall at 150 as normal - once you are changed into PE gear and ready we will do the roll call - after this you will be leaving the school on foot so please be prepared

We must be left the school by 2pm so don't be late

Bring plenty of warm clothes and also have water proofs if you have them

You can wear shorts if u want underneath your tracksuit as you may need them throughout the afternoon
